  • Page 2 REFRACTOMETER NOMENCLATURE Daylight Focus Plate Screw Adjustment Main Prism Eyepiece Grip OPERATION 1. Open daylight plate, and place 2-3 drops of distilled water on the main prism. Close the daylight plate so the the water spreads across the entire surface of the prism without air s or dry spots.
  • Page 3 2. Hold daylight plate in the direction of a light source and look into the eyepiece. You will see a circular field with graduations down the center (you may have to focus the eyepiece to clearly see the graduations). The upper portion of the field should , while the lower portion should white.
  • Page 4 Your ATD-3325 is warranted for a period of 12 months from the original purchase date. For a period of one (1) year from your purchase date, ATD Tools Inc. will repair or replace (at its option) without charge, your ATD product if it was purchased new and the product has failed due to a defect in material or workmanship which you experienced during normal use of the product.
