    Capacitance Measurement: WARNING To avoid damage to the meter or to the equipment under test, disconnect circuit power and discharge all high voltage capacitance before measuring capacitance. Use the DC voltage function to confirm that the capacitor is discharged. 3. Touch the probes to test points. If the capacitor is polarized, connect the red test lead to positive leg and the black test lead to negative leg.
