    Chapter 2 Setup 2-1. Before Installing the CCU ● Installation Requirements • The product must be installed at a stable place that is strong enough to withstand the weight. • The product must be installed at an appropriate location. Be sure to turn the power off and observe the safety precautions when installing.

    2-2. Preparing the Camera ● Attaching a Filter or a Close-up Lens (Optional) SC430-PTR comes with an ND lter and a close-up lens. Using the ND lter is recommended. • ND lter The lter reduces the light volume to 1/4 (two stages down). It is effective under a surgical light or when your operating environment is too bright.
  • Page 18 Apply a drop of the provided thread-locking uid at approximately three locations on the lter attaching area. Attention • Use the provided thread-locking uid. • The thread-locking uid is not an adhesive agent. Forcibly rotating the ND lter to left may cause the lter to be detached.
