Minimum Power and Programming Requirements
AEM recommends that you familiarize yourself with the VCU200 basic functionality within a bench top environment
AND NOT ON A VEHICLE during the first power up and test.

1. Launch AEMCal. A USB connection to the VCU
hardware is not required yet.
2. Open the FactoryBase calibration which should
be in the
\Documents\AEM\AEMcal\Calibrations\Factory
folder.
3. Load the Default200 layout file which should be
in the \Documents\AEM\AEMcal\Layouts\Factory
folder.
4. Select the Setup-Hardware group
Familiarize yourself with the Hardware Pinout. There are
multiple tabs in this pane (Pinout1-5).
Select the MinimumPowerReq tab which includes an
example wiring schematic and general information about
power distribution. Use the Hardware Pinout and the
Minimum Power schematic shown to build a test bench
harness that can be powered from a 12V bench top
power supply.
