Changing the Greeting Message

You can change the greeting message according to
your own preferences.
The greeting message:
Appears when you switch your phone on
Can be up to 36 characters long
1 Enter the menu system, as follows.
Press
Result: M e n u O K ? is displayed.
H e l l o
Press
Result: The first menu appears.
2 Press
G r e e t i n g M e s s a g e E d i t sub-
menu.
3 Enter the new greeting message
(to enter a letter, refer to page 40).

You can correct a letter
entered by pressing the
required number of times.

Selecting DTMF Dialling

You can select DTMF dialling by activating the TX
DTMF option.
Example: You wish to access computer services,
such as bank-by-phone services.
1 Enter the menu system, as follows.
Press or .
Result: M e n u O K ? is displayed.
Press .
Result: The first menu appears.
2 Press to access the T X
D T M F sub-menu.
3 Select T X D T M F O N.
4 Press .
Result: During a communication,
any key pressed is trans -
mitted as a DTMF tone.
