front speaker enclosures. These
speaker
enclosures
are
desigen
d to work
in
conjuction with
Rockford
's
other RANGER
specific
audio
kits
and parts.
If you
feel
unsure about
installing
this
system
yo
urself,
have
it
insta lled
by
a qualified
technic
ian.
When
drilling ho
les, make sure
what is on
the
other side. Be
sure
that
any electrical,
fue
l lines
or
any other importa
nt
components are
free
and
clear from the
area.

The
enclosure
ca
n
be
installed
in both
Crew and non-crew
models
in
t
he
ki ck
pa nels
on th
e
vehicle.
St
ep
1.
Remove
t
he top
of
the
dash. This w
ill give
yo
u
access
for
boltin
g
in
both speaker
enclsosures.
Step
2.
Set th
e
speaker
enclosure into
place.
NOTE
:
The enclosures
get inst
alled below
the
d
ash,
up
against
t
he
firewa
ll
of th
e
vehicle.
There
are
existin
g bosses t
hat
they
w
ill
bo
lt to.
Installation
Step
3.
Secu re
the enclosure
using supplied
hardw
are.
NOTE: You
will
need to use
the
su pplied tool to
tighten
t
he bolts
that
go
into the
existin
g factory
bosses on
t he
firewall.
Step
4.
Insert
the spade connector side
of the
speaker
harn
ess
into
the
to
p
hole of
the
enclos ure.
Step 5.
Install
th
e
supplied
foam
pad to
sea
l
up
t
he
enclosure.
Be sure
to
leave en ough
w ire to con
nect the
spea ker.
Ste
p
6.
Connect the
speaker
harn ess
to
the
speaker.
Step
7.
Secure the
speaker
w
ith
t
he
supplied
speaker
hardware.
Step
8.
Repeat
st
eps
for the enclosure on the other side.
Step
9.
Reinstall
the
dash piece.
