Safety Precautions
Please read this quick guide carefully to ensure you can use the device correctly and safely.
Triax reserves the right to change the specifications without prior notice. Triax accepts no liability in
respect of loss arising from errors in or changes to the information provided.
This device should only be used with the power source provided. The voltage of the power must be
verified before using. If the device is not in use for a long period, unplug the product from the wall
socket when you are not using it.
Heat sources – Do not install the product near heat sources such as direct sunlight, radiators, heaters
and other heat generating products.
Water and moisture – Do not expose the unit to wet or damp conditions. This device is designed for
indoor use only. Do not expose it to high humidity. If any liquid gets into the product, switch off power
immediately.
Clean only with a dry cloth.
Ventilation – The vents and other openings in the casing are designed for ventilation. Do not cover or
block these vents and openings as insufficient ventilation can cause overheating and/or shorten the
life of the product. Place the device in well ventilated areas only.
Do NOT power off the DVR during normal recording conditions. You must first stop the DVR recording
function. Then select 'shutdown' from the lower left of the menu screen to exit. Finally switch off the
power.
Servicing – Do NOT attempt to service the product yourself. Removing covers can expose you to
electric shock and other dangerous conditions. Maintenance should be performed by a suitably
qualified person only.
When this product is in use, the intellectual property of Microsoft, Apple and Google will be involved.
