    Systems. Short name of the product – CCS-IP2. The CCS-IP2 can be used in the metals, chemical, mining, oil and gas, metal processing and wood processing industries, in facilities of the Transportation Ministry, Emergencies Ministry, Interior Ministry and Defense Ministry, Maintenance personnel for the CCS-IP2 shall be appointed by the management at the installation site.

    CCS-IP2 CALL STATION User Manual SAFETY PROVISIONS During installation and operation of CCS-IP2, observe safety precautions laid out in “Occupational safety rules when operating electrical installations” when working with electrical receivers with voltage of up to 1000 V.   • Page 9 CCS-IP2 CALL STATION User Manual The design and material of the casing of the CCS-IP2 ensure protection from external effects in accordance with the design versions. The casing is made of aluminum alloy and is coated with environment resistant paint.

    To enable operation of the integrated speaker, the CCS-BC board comes with an integrated amplifier with output power of at least 2 W. Optional for CCS-IP2 can be used an auxiliary amplifier 25 W (Amplifier 25W retrofit kit RMLT.465937.001), which is mounted in seats in casing for installation.

    The keypad module performs the function of a dialing unit and is installed in the cover of the CCS-IP2 (refer to Figure 2). The keypad has 10 digital buttons for dialing a call number and 2 service buttons for controlling communication. Permanent connection buttons are highlighted in orange color.

    User Manual 1.2.8 CCS-BC board The CCS-BC is installed on the inner side of the CCS-IP2 cover and is designed to switch the integrated speaker, microphone, button module/buttons and backlit character display, which are installed in the cover, with the CCS-DW-IP2 main board.

    2.1.1 The product shall be used under exposure factors and ambient parameters which do not exceed permissible values given in 1.1.3. 2.1.2 CCS-IP2 may be powered from a PoE injector or a 48 V external power supply. 2.1.3 The requirements for operating conditions and the choice of the place of installation given in this document take into account the most typical factors that affect the operation of CCS-IP2.

    − protect power and communication cables from damage. 2.3 Preparation for use Preparation of the CCS-IP2 for use shall be carried out by the manufacturer’s representatives, or personnel trained to operate Armtel LLC products. The main preparation of the product for use is carried out during installation and connection.

Note – During production, each CCS-IP2 is assigned the same default IP address: 192.168.100.10, subnet mask: 255.255.255.0. If DHCP is turned on, the product is automatically assigned an IP address when connecting to a shared network.

    The Ethernet interface line on the other side is connected to the digital subscriber interface of the communication system through station cross equipment. The availability of reverse polarity protection at the CCS-IP2 input prevents damage to the device, and so the performance of the device is not affected when reverse polarity supply voltage is applied across contacts 1, 2, 3 and 4 of clip connector XS3.

Note - Besides the IPN Config Tool, the CCS-IP2 can be configured using a built-in WEB interface, which can also be used to update software, upload and store configurations.
  • Page 38 The CCS-IP2 supports two SIP (RFC 3261) telecommunication protocols and the Armtel-IP protocol. Operation of the device via the SIP protocol is carried out via the SIP server. Calls over the SIP protocol occur in simplex mode, while call reception occurs in half-duplex mode.

All operations performed with the product, identified malfunctions, as well as negative maintenance results must be recorded in a special log for form filling. 3.4 Checking operability 3.4.1 Checking the audio path The audio path should be checked via test communication sessions with subscribers, operation with which is programmed during product configuration.
