Preparing for assembly

Completely remove protective foil from packing
piece if present (after warming slightly) (see Fig.: 2).
If necessary, clean out concrete residue from the
wrench threads on the black lock cover (see Fig.: 3).
Assembly: Example HSI150 D1x80
(outside of building)
Any water at the HSI150 DT closing cover can
be drained in a controlled manner using the
HSI DAE pressure discharge element (Art. No.:
2126010170) (see fi g.: 4)! These can be ordered
as an accessory directly from Hauff-Technik.
Please see also the separate installation instruc-
tions "HSI DAE Pressure Discharge Element"
(Art. No.: 5090033101) in connection with this.
Use the SLS 6G(D) fl exible socket wrench to open
lock cover via the wrench threads by twisting to the
left (see fi g.: 5 and 6).
In single sealing collars with wall thickness 70 to
150 mm the dummy cover (second seal) on the
connection side (bayonet mounting) is hamme-
red in with a hammer and removed (see fi g.: 7).
Optionally the dummy cover can also be ham-
mered in on the back!
Then PE cover is then removed on the pipe side
(HSI150 K70 and K80 without PE cover) (see
fi g.: 8).
