    EC REGULATIONS AND SECURITY ATTENTION: Do not disassemble or modify the device in any way. This symbol warns of the presence of dangerous un-insulated voltages inside some of the components, of sufficient magnitude to expose people to risk of electronic shock. This symbol draws attention to important use and maintenance instructions in the manual that accompanies the unit.
  • Page 7 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Wiring connected to hazardous voltage requires installation by qualified personnel or the use of ready-made flexible cables. For your security, your equipment must be connected to an electrical outlet with grounding connection protection. Since the plug is used to disconnect the device, the operating electrical outlet must be in an easily accessible place.

    SYSTEM DESCRIPTION The DynamicCableRetract is a patented motorised cable retraction system. Simply touch a button and a 600 mm cable will appear in a smooth and silent move. Push to deploy and push to retract: extremely easy and neat. The DynamicCableRetract is compact, elegant and robust. It provides a harmonic and silent motorised movement for a seamless integration in furniture.

  • Page 11 MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS Information Cut a hole in the table surface where the DynamicCableRetract top surface will be installed Ensure that there is enough space under the table to install the DynamicCableRetract. The output of the cable and connections of the device are in the back side (As shown in the picture).
  • Page 12 MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS Preparing the table: Cut-out If the cut-out in the table can not be made with precision, a cover plate is supplied in order to hide the cut imperfections. DynamicCableRetract can be installed in tables with a thickness from 10mm [0.39] to 50mm [1.97].

  • Page 15 MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS Preparing the DynamicCableRetract 1- Place the DynamicCableRetract housing with the brackets into the installed table brackets as shown on the drawing below. Insert the two M6 nuts. Tighten each gradually until DynamicCableRetract top plate surface is flush with of the table surface or cover plate: - For the standard installation, flush the top plate surface with the top surface of the table.
  • Page 16 MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS Mounting the DynamicCableRetract 3- To level the device top surface of the device with the table, screw the (x4) M6x60 screws gradually. There is a M6 screw in every corner, tighten one more than others you can level the DynamicCableRetract top surface of the table or cover plate.
  • Page 17 MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS Mounting the DynamicCableRetract With the DynamicCableRetract is supplied a cover plate. This cover plate can help to hide the cut out of the table if it cannot be made properly. Follow next steps to stick the cover plate to top surface. 1- Clean the table Surface where the cover plate is goning to be taped.

    INPUT CONNECTORS AHnet: RJ45 CAT5 connector for addressable RS422 control. There is a loop through connector to use as signal RS422 output. Up to 30 devices can be connected on the same RS422 bus. Termination: Activate (ON) the termination, ONLY on the last unit of the RS422 bus.

    AHLINK AHlink is used to control and set-up the unit. By default, the AHlink signal on the unit is deactivated. To activate the AHlink signal, press for 5 seconds the external Up and Down retractable cable button located on the cover plate. The unit automatically deactivate the AHlink signal if there is no device (mobile or tablet) connected for more than 2 minutes.
  • Page 20 AHLINK If the device does not appear on the window, the AHlink signal is not active. The AHlink name always begins with AH characters and the fourth last MAC AHlink address. Select the device to control and set-up the unit. When selecting the device, the first page will upload on the mobile phone.
