Switch S 1, located near the ribbon cable connector J 1, selects internal or external power (see
Figure 5-5). To use external power, set this switch to the position labeled EXT. To use internal
power, set the switch to the position labeled IZV. Figure 5-5 illustrates these switch settings.
The SC-206X Series boards are shipped from the factory with switch S 1 set for internal power.

SC-206X Series Board Connection
Each of the SC-206X Series boards is connected to the host data acquisition board-NB Series,
MC Series, AT Series, or Lab board-via an SC-205X Series cable adapter board. Figure 5-6
illustrates the connections between the host board and the SC-205X Series boards and between
the SC-205X Series and the SC-206X Series boards. For more information on the SC-205X
