b. Remove the screws on the bottoms of the four standoffs attached to the board. Use the same
screws to mount your SC-206X Series board to the rack chassis as shown in Figure 5-2. Put
the washers around the screws before you screw them to the rack.
Notice that the ground for the SC-206X Series board is connected to the metal standoffs
attached to the board. Rack mounting automatically grounds the board to the metal chassis.
• If you are planning to use more than two SC-206X Series boards with one SC-205X Series
board, double-height mounting within one rack-mount chassis is possible. You need a
hardware kit for double-height mounting (see Optional Equipment in Chapter 1). which
consists of two brackets that mount in the rack mount. You can mount a second row of SC-
205X Series and SC-206X Series boards on these brackets the same way you mount the first
row. Figure 5-3 illustrates double-height mounting.
