Selecting and searching

Selecting a different track / chapter
For DVD/VCD/CD:
During playback, briefly press SEARCH
once or more until your desired track/chapter
number appears (or on the remote control, CH
+/- (¡ / ™)).
Or,
use the Numeric Keypad (0-9) on the remote
control to select the track/chapter number
directly. e.g.
Track/chapter 2: Press 0 and then, 2
Track/chapter10, Press 1 and then, 0
For DVD: On how to enter a chapter number of
10 or above, refer to steps 2-3 in GOTO
section.
For MP3/JPEG:
Use the navigation controls 1 / 2 / 3 / 4
and OK to select the desired file or file folder.
Fast reversing/fowarding

During playback, press à/á on the remote
control repeatedly to select fast search speed
(x2, x4, x8 or x20).
The disc plays at a high speed.

When you recognize the passage you want,
pressÉÅ or OK
Normal playback resumes.

GOTO

During playback, press GOTO on the remote
control.
A search bar appears on the top of the screen
for you to enter the desired title/chapter/track
number, or playback time.

DVDs: You may select and search in the fields
of title (TT) and chapter (CH), or playback time
(00:00:00)
VCD
TRK
01/01
VCDs/CDs/MP3/JPEG: You may select
and search in the field of track (TRK), or
playback time (00:00:00)

Press 1 / 2 to highlight the proper digit
position (
001/024
) in the title/chapter/track or
time field.

Use the Numeric Keypad (0-9) to enter one
digit you want.
An invalid digit will be ingored.

Repeat steps 2-3 until you set the desired
number.

PressÉ Å or OK to start playback.
Or,
the playback will auto start when the search bar
disappears after 5 seconds of inactivity.
The disc plays from the beginning of the
selected title/chapter/track, or the point of the
selected time.
Helpful hints:
– Search bar will disappear if 5 seconds of
inactivity occurs.
