7.2.2 Battery switches

Electrically controlled battery isolators: press the switches on the breaker control panel. In the event of electrical failure, it
is possible to press the button on top of the battery breaker down manually to activate it.
- The electrically-controlled battery breakers use very little electricity when they are on: it is essential to turn off all the
battery breakers during lengthy absences to prevent the batteries from slowly and irreversibly discharging.
- The engine's positive battery isolator automatically switches on and off when the engine is started/stopped.
- The negative of the circuit is connected to the general negative.
1. Starboard engine positive isolator switch
2. Port engine positive isolator switch

NOTE: The cupboard door opens with a magnet.

- Turn off all battery isolators before leaving
the vessel: failure to do so may result in
critical damage to the entire battery bank.
- Avoid touching the battery isolators when
they are live.
- Never switch off the battery isolators when
the boat's engine is running (risk of serious
damage to the charging circuit).
