The instructions below show how to program NAM (Number Assignment Module) data.
Preparation
STEP
1
Press the Power Button.

Enter Access Code ("111111").

Push Jog Dial™ navigator twice to select "Programming".
Enter Security Code (default is 000000). The following message appears: "PLEASE WAIT READING SERVICE PARAMETERS".

The ESN display appears. "ESN IS READ ONLY. YOU CANNOT CHANGE ESN." Push Jog Dial™ navigator to go to the next display.

Now, you are ready to start programming.

Enter Phone #, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Enter Home SID, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
This step skipped if one time program code is used.
Enter AMPS Home SID, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
This step skipped if one time program code is used.
Enter NAM Name, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Push Jog Dial™ navigator to exit. More
programming accomplishes nothing if one-time
lock code is used to enter service programming.
Enter new service programming code if you want to
change, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Enter Slot Cycle Index, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Push Jog Dial™ navigator to set detail information
for NAM 1 (step 10). Press "#" to set
NAM 2 (see step 21).
Enter Mobile country code, then push Jog Dial™
navigator.
Enter NMSID (national mobile station identification: ten
digit mobile number), then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Enter Home CDMA phone #, then push Jog Dial™
navigator.
Enter CDMA Home NID, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Turn Jog Dial™ navigator to select "yes" or "no" for
ID registration, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Turn Jog Dial™ navigator to select "yes" or "no"
for Foreign network ID registration,
then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Enter AMPS phone #, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Turn Jog Dial™ navigator to select "yes" or "no" for
Home system registration, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
