Instruction for Programming NAM Data
The instructions below show how to program NAM (Number Assignment Module) data.
Preparation
STEP
1
Press the Power Button.

Enter Access Code ("111111").

Push Jog Dial™ navigator twice to select "Programming".
Enter Security Code (default is 000000). The following message appears: "PLEASE WAIT READING SERVICE PARAMETERS".

The ESN display appears. "ESN IS READ ONLY. YOU CANNOT CHANGE ESN." Push Jog Dial™ navigator to go to the next display.

Now, you are ready to start programming.

Enter Phone #, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Enter Home SID, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Enter NAM Name, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Push Jog Dial™ navigator to exit. Select "More Prog." Back
to set other parameters; step 6. Select "Back" to go
back to step 3.
Enter new service programming code if you want to
change, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Enter Slot Cycle Index, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Push Jog Dial™ navigator to set detailed information
for NAM 1 (step 9). Press "#" to go to step 16.
Enter Mobile country code, then push Jog Dial™
navigator.
Enter NMSID (national mobile station identification), then
push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Enter CDMA Home NID, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
65535 is "Wildcard Setting".
Turn Jog Dial™ navigator to select "yes" or "no" for Home
SID registration, then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Turn Jog Dial™ navigator to select "yes" or "no"
for Foreign system ID registration, then push
Jog Dial™ navigator.
Turn Jog Dial™ navigator to select "yes" or
"no" for Foreign network ID registration,
then push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Access Overload Class is read-only (automatically
set to the last digit of the mobile #).
Push Jog Dial™ navigator.
Press Jog Dial™ navigator to edit NAM 2 or press #
to skip NAM 2 and continue.
