It also converts an optical control signal returning on the same fiber into a RS-422 output signal using an 850 nm wavelength detector. The VF-1400 Series is designed to operate over an optical loss budget range of 0 to 12 dB when used on 62.5 um multimode fiber. The units will work on 50 um fiber at a reduced loss budget. -
