    Intended use The Laufen shower toilet is designed to wash the rear area and also the female intimate area with the lady shower. Any other kind of use is not permitted. Glowing cigarettes or other burning objects must not be thrown into the WC bowl.

    4 OPERATING THE REMOTE CONTROL FOR THE FIRST TIME Start button Activate the touch screen remote control by pressing the start button at the top right. When the remote control is activated for the first time, a setup program guides you through the most important settings.

    USER DETECTION As soon as you sit on the Laufen shower toilet, the air purifier is activated. It can be switched off at any time using the remote control. The shower settings saved under the basic profile are now active and can be accessed using the rotary button or remote control.

    5 USING THE SHOWER TOILET FOR THE FIRST TIME SEAT AND COVER LOWERING SYSTEM Dampers lower the seat and cover silently and make sure they close slowly. The seat and cover are opened in the same way as on a standard WC. Please do not force down the seat and cover as this will damage the damper.

You can feel the indents as the rotary button is turned. Every time the rotary button reaches an indent, the next user profile is selected.

Press the rotary button again to stop the rear shower prematurely. The shower settings are the same as the default setting or the selected user profile.

Your appliance detects the need for descaling and notifies you accordingly. When the descaling message appears, you can continue using the shower toilet in the usual way until descaling is actually performed.

    10 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING 10.14 REPLACE THE CARBON FILTER AUTOMATICALLY Unpleasant odours are extracted by the shower toilet. The unpleasant air is filtered by the activated car- bon in the carbon filter and redirected back into the room free of odours via an outlet underneath the appliance.
