Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
2.2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SOIL CULTIVATOR CULTIVION Clear your work area before starting work. Make sure that the Cultivion does not come into contact with anything other than soil and plants. Do not use the Cultivion to dig very hard, stony soil or near thick roots.

SOIL CULTIVATOR CULTIVION 58_80347-P 4. COMMISSIONING Caution Before any maintenance intervention on the tool: Check that the battery is turned off. Depending on the battery model, turn off either via the push button or via the on/off switch (stop position is "0") located on the battery.

Position the weeding blade (10) on the mounting part (16). Fit the tightening screws (17). Tighten the screws (17) using a 5 mm hex socket and a torque wrench.

Tighten the screw (22) using a 5 mm hex socket and a torque wrench. Important Tightening torque: 12 N.m Important Do not forget the nut (20) and the washer (21) during assembly.
Screw it in all the way. Check that the power cord is properly connected. 4.5. CONNECTING PELLENC BATTERIES TO THE TOOL Important Always check the remaining battery-life before use. If necessary, recharge the battery using the charger.
SOIL CULTIVATOR CULTIVION 58_80347-P 4.5.2. 400 / 700 / 1100 ULIB BATTERY Before electrically connecting the battery to the Cul- tivion, check that the battery switch is in the ‘off’ po- sition (position '0'). Connect the power cord (12) of the Soil Cultivator to the connector on the battery.

SOIL CULTIVATOR CULTIVION 58_80347-P 5. USING THE TOOL 5.1. ADJUSTING THE HARNESS Put on your harness. To adjust your harness according to your body size, refer to the fitting instructions provided with your harness. 5.2. TURNING ON THE BATTERY Turn on the battery by pressing the On/Off button.
SOIL CULTIVATOR CULTIVION 58_80347-P 5.3. HOLDING THE TOOL Hold the tool by the rear handle (1) and the front handle (6). Be sure to check that the tool is not touching any- thing. The nom_outil is in ‘start’ position. Important Do not work anywhere other than in soil.
Release the drive trigger (4) to stop the tool. 5.5. START-UP IN CONTINUOUS MODE The Cultivion has a continuous mode which allows the user to work with the tool at constant speed without hav- ing to keep the trigger pressed.

If any LED on the handle is on, the machine is still powered on. Always start the motor before bringing the tool head into contact with the ground. Note Let the Cultivion do the work by drawing it towards you without over-forcing.
