Ac Plug Volume Control Back Button Forward Button Speaker INSTALLATION Method 1 Step 1: Stick the double-sided 3m stickers on the bracket. - Page 6 Step 2: Tear off the protective film on the 3m stickers, apply it on a smooth wall surface at the appropriate height. Hang the device on the bracket from the top-down lining up the hole at the back of the device. Tighten the screw on the bottom of the unit to the bracket. Method 2 If you want to install the device on a rough wall (such as concrete, brick or a wooden surface), use screws to fix the bracket.
- Page 7 Install App Download the “Kogan SmarterHome” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Register If you do not have a Kogan SmarterHome™ account, register or sign in with a verification code sent by SMS. To register: Tap to enter registration page.
- Page 8 Set device in pairing mode When the device is first turned on, it may automatically enter pairing mode and the blue light will blink quickly. If not automatically in pairing mode when powered on, you can manually set the device in pairing mode by holding the reset button for five seconds until the light flashes blue rapidly.
- Page 9 Select “Smart Mode” for the set-up type. Ensure that the device is in pairing mode, and tap “Confirm light is rapidly flashing”. Upon successfully confirming pairing mode, enter your Wi-Fi details. It is important that your SmarterHome™ device and the app are connected to the same Wi-Fi network during setup.
- Page 10 The device will commence the pairing process and connect to the app. Ensure your Wi- Fi router, mobile phone, and the SmarterHome™ device are kept close until connection is complete. After successfully being added, you will have the option to rename the device and assign it to a location.
