Teletext
ATV
You can retrieve the teletext information along with analogue TV
channels.
1) Press [

] to turn on the teletext decoder.

• Teletext information will appear.
• If you want to select other pages, press

Digital Teletext
DTV
Some digital TV channels have digital teletext called MHEG
(Multimedia and Hypermedia Expert Group). You can see the
MHEG data service on the TV screen.
1) Press [

] to turn on the digital teletext.

2) MHEG information will appear.
3) Follow the instructions on the TV screen.
• You can turn off the digital teletext using [

C.I. (Common Interface)
DTV
This unit is equipped with a C.I. (Common Interface) slot. You
can enjoy additional services with this function, for example Pay
TV. The access restrictions menu will appear on the TV screen
when a CI module is installed.
1) Turn off the unit and unplug from an AC outlet.
2) Insert the CI module straight to the C.I. slot of this unit.
• Some CI modules may be a two-piece design consisting of a card
reader with the viewing card. When using this kind of card,
insert the card reader firmly into the C.I. slot on the unit first.
Then, insert the viewing card into the reader.

3) Plug this unit into an AC outlet and press
[
(standby-on)] to turn on the unit.
4) Press [MENU] to display the menu.
5) Press [K / L] to select "DETAIL", then press [OK].
6) Press [K / L] to select "CI Menu", then press [OK].
7) Follow the instructions on the TV screen.
Note:
• In case of failure, you need to call your CI service
provider.
• Menu operations may vary depending on the viewing
card. Refer to the manual accompanying the viewing
card.
Colour System
You can change the TV colour system in video or scart mode.
Press [COLOUR SYSTEM

• Each time you press [COLOUR SYSTEM
screen will change as follows.
AUTO, PAL, PAL60, SECAM, NTSC, NTSC4.43
Note:
When you select "AUTO" by pressing
[COLOUR SYSTEM
