Page 2 EXTRACTION GUIDE Dismantle to store during winter Your PROBASE can stay under the snow during wintertime. However, if you wish to remove it for storage during winter, only unscrew the upper section of the PROBASE and store it. The pivot base and the section pushed into the ground can remain in place.
Page 3 EXTRACTION GUIDE Once the upper section is removed, place the two wooden studs in the pivot base. Make sure they exceed of approximately 10” (25 cm). Lift the end of the studs, insert a wooden block in the gap underneath the studs and drop the studs on the wooden block.
Page 4 EXTRACTION GUIDE Lift the other end of the wooden studs to pull out the stake. Always lift the two studs together with equal strength. Lift them until the stake comes out enough to create a space of about 1 1/2” (3.8 cm) above the wooden block.
Page 5 EXTRACTION GUIDE Repeat each steps as many times as necessary to remove the stake. About 5 or 6 repetitions will be necessary. Once half of the stake is taken out, you will be able to remove it by pulling it out. Notice that the PROBASE has not damaged your lawn! - 5 -...
