So if the Print head is selected to a single stroke the machine will flood the screen, the tables will raise make a Print stroke and then the table will lower. When the machine lowers back down the Flashback will then get a signal to Flash. (The FLASHBACK will extend in and automatically reverse its self back to its home position).

Then raise the Flashback by loosening the front levers and turning the knob and slowly raise the front, do this in increments where you then loosen the back levers and raise it up by turning the knob. You will want to raise the Flashback 2 inches or so above the pallet, this will allow for clearance over the pallet when the table is raised.

WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK! Turn ALL power to unit OFF before service. All service should be done by or under the supervision of a trained technician FAQ: 1. The Element tray will not extend: Make sure the air supply is turned on. Check that the right mode has been selected (see page 12 for mode explanations) Check that the snap action switch at the rear of the element tray (reverse) is not stuck down and you hear a click when triggered.
  • Page 21 “Print Print Flash” will only work in automatic, the second flash is canceled from the output to the delay timer. If this connection is not made correctly at the CPU, or at the relay in the flashback it will not cancel the flash 8.
  • Page 22 First thing to determine is it weeping air or leaking. Weeping air is normal we supply a ball valve on the flashback to shut the air off when the press is not being used, this will help from depleting the air in the reserves.
  • Page 23 When testing the Flashback the 220 VAC can be Unplugged, unless were testing the high voltage. The Modes can all be tested with out the heat on, for example if you are testing a flashback that will not retract you will want to...
  • Page 24 Part V The communication bracket is what the Flashback uses to connect to the cpu, the switch on the top of the bracket is activated by the table raising and lowering. This switch will get dirty at times grease lint and spray adhesive and will need cleaned. Also at times there may be a high spot in the table and when the machine is in the down mode it does not make contact not signaling a function to happen.
  • Page 25 If there is no voltage across the bulbs you can take L1 to ground and see if there is 110 VAC, if there is you may have either lost a leg on your main coming into the Flashback or had a break on it some where in between.
