Changing the main battery
5 If the battery lock is in the locked position, slide it toward
the unlocked position.

6 Slide and hold down the battery release latch.
7 While holding the battery release latch, pull the
discharged battery out from the back of the computer.

If the battery is leaking or its case is cracked, put on protective
gloves to handle it, and discard it immediately following the
advice in "Disposing of used batteries" on page 123.
