E-F Balance Adiustment
This adjustment is to be done when the optical
block is replaciid.
Adjusamenl Procedure:

Connect the oscilloscope between IC70l pins
(20) and (L!).
2.
Put the set into service mode.
3.
Press the >N and f(
keys to move the FOP to
the center.
4.
Insert disc (YEDS-I8) and press ) key.
5.
Adjust RV70l so that the oscilloscope traverse
waveform is symmctrical, os shown in the figtrre
below.
6.
Release service mode after adjustment is com-
pleted.

on the disc to enable easy visibility of the eye

Adjust RV702 so that the oscilloscope wave-
form is as shown in the figure below (eye pat-
tern t.
A good eye pattern meâns that the diamond
shape (O) in the center of the waveform can be
