Eefore Adjustment
Put the set into senice mode and perform the
following checks. Repair if there are any problcms.

Sled Motor Chsck
l.
Press >-+ I keys.
2.
Press)N,l(keys and confirm that the FOp
moves smoothly from the innermost to outer_
most circumference and bâck smoothly and
with no catching or abnormal noises.
>>l : FOP moves to the outer circumference
K< : FOP moves to the inner circumference

Focu3 Search Check
l.
Press ) key. (Focus search operation is per-
formed continuously.)
2.
Look at the FOP objective lens and confirm
that it moves up and down smoothly, with no
catching or abnormal noises.
3.
Press'l key.
.Confirm that focus search operation stops. If it
does not, press I key again longer.
How to Put the Set into Service Mode
1. Short-circuit following pcirtions on the CD control
board.
2. Turn the POWER on.
VCO Adjustment
Adjustment Procedure:
l. Short-circuit @ portion on CD main board.
2. Adjust with RV703 so that the reading on
f r e q u e n c y c o u n t e r b e c o m e s 4 . 3 2 1 8 M H z .
3. Release the short-cûcuit @ portion.
