Inspect the position of the
capillary tube. It must be
against the evaporator.
Capillary
tube in correct
position?
YES
Disconnect the wires from
the thermostat.
Did
refrigerator
stop
operating?
NO
Disconnect thermostat wires
from terminals "C" and "T"
of control module.
Did
refrigerator
stop
operating?
NO

Reposition capillary tube.
Test refrigerator.
YES
Replace thermostat.
YES
Repair shorted wires between thermostat
and control module. Test refrigerator.
Replace refrigerator.
