Fluid Topping Up

Engine oil

The engine uses up to 1 litre of oil for every 625
miles (1,000 km), depending on your style of
driving. The oil consumption may be higher than
this when the vehicle is new or if you frequently
drive at high engine speeds.
You will only be able to estimate the oil
consumption after the vehicle has been driven
for several thousand miles or kilometres.
NOTE: Lubricant additives could damage
the engine or gearbox. Further
information is available from your
McLaren Retailer.
