Vertical position
• Remove the dustbag and close the dust
extraction shut-off.
• Mount the sanding frame (1) as described above.
• Fit each of the legs (2) to the sanding frame (1)
using the fasteners (12).
• Fit the short support bracket (13) between the
rear feet using the fasteners (14).
• Fit the workpiece support (5) to the sanding
frame using the fasteners (15).
• Secure the assembly to the workbench using the
outer screw holes in the legs.
Horizontal position
• Mount the assembly as decribed above, fitting
the long support bracket (16) between the rear
feet.
• Fit the finger guard (6) to the left of the fence. To
do so, remove the wingnut (17), place the guard
over the thread and re-fit the wingnut.
• Move the guard into upright position until it
engages in the slot (18).
• Tighten the wingnut.
When preparing the assembly for use in
horizontal position, always make sure to
put the finger guard in place!
Adjusting the workpiece support (fig. H)
The workpiece support can be set according to the
workpiece and the desired sanding angle.
• Slacken the wingnuts holding the support (5).
• Set the support to the desired position and
angle, making sure that the support is as close to
the belt as possible.
• Tighten the wingnuts.
Adjusting the clearance between the sanding
belt and the workpiece support (fig. H)
The distance between the workpiece support and
the sanding belt (19) should be max. 2 mm.
• Adjust the clearance using the knob (2).
Do not allow the workpiece support to
touch the sanding belt.

appropriate accessories.
Maintenance
Your attachment has been designed to operate over
a long period of time with a minimum of
maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation
depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.
Protecting the environment
Separate collection. This product must
not be disposed of with normal
household waste.
Should you find one day that your D
needs replacement, or if it is of no further use to you,
do not dispose of it with household waste. Make this
product available for separate collection.
Separate collection of used products
and packaging allows materials to be
recycled and used again. Re-use of
recycled materials helps prevent
environmental pollution and reduces the
demand for raw materials.
Local regulations may provide for separate collection
of electrical products from the household, at
municipal waste sites or by the retailer when you
purchase a new product.
