Installation Instructions for Cirrus Suspension Downlight Modular
L-Shaped Power Dual Circuit Connector
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- This product is for indoor locations only.
- The CSDM-LPD connector physically connects two CSDSM-_
or CSDHM-_ Cirrus Suspension Modular Downlight channels
together at 90 degrees apart and conducts the power from
two remote power supplies powering both channels.

Section One: Installing the Canopy

CORD GRIP
ASSEMBLY
1: Split the end of the coaxial cables coming from the L-Shaped Power Dual Circuit Connector.
2: For the 2" canopy, feed the cables through the knurled nut, 2" canopy and cord grip assembly respectively.
3: For the 4" canopy, feed the cables through the cord grip of the canopy.
NOTE:
If cable is curled or kinked, straighten by holding between the shaft of a screwdriver and thumb and pulling the cable
through (see inset).

4: Use the 18AWG hole of the wire stripper to remove 1-3/8"

of the outer insulation to expose the braided wire.
5: Use the 18AWG hole of the wire stripper to remove 1" of
the braided wire making sure not to nick the inner wire
insulation.

6: Use the 20AWG hole of the wire stripper to remove 1/8" of
the inner insulated wire.

CONNECTOR CONNECTOR COVER COVER 1.5MM ALLEN WRENCH 2MM ALLEN WRENCH CONNECTOR M3 SET ASSEMBLY SCREW M4 SET SCREW 8: Using the provided 1.5mm Allen wrench, remove the M3 set screw from the coaxial connector assembly.
- Page 3 14: Use the provided 2mm Allen wrench to securely tighten the 2MM ALLEN M4 set screw until it squeezes the wire ferrule tightly to the WRENCH coaxial cable. M4 SET SCREW COAXIAL COAXIAL CONNECTOR CABLE CONNECTOR COVER ASSEMBLY 15: Replace the coaxial connector cover and tighten into place. COAXIAL 16: Repeat steps 4 through 15 for connecting the other coaxial CABLE...

NOTE: Omit steps 23 and 24 if using 4" Round or Square canopy. Adjust fixture height by following step 26. 23: Mount the cord grip assembly to the 2" plaster ring using two #8-32 screws. CORD GRIP ASSEMBLY #8-32 SCREW CANOPY 24: Place the canopy over the cord grip against the ceiling. - Page 5 2: Align the male pin carrier with the female connector on the L-SHAPED POWER end of the L-Shaped Power Dual Circuit Connector that will DUAL CIRCUIT conduct power. 3: Push the male pins completely in the female connector of the L-Shaped Power Dual Circuit Connector and then lift the CARRIER carrier up to remove it.
