End Cap Power Connector
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- This product is for indoor locations only.
- The NSUDM-CAP-_ connector conducts power from a
remote power supply to one NSUDM-_ Nova Up/Down
Suspension Modular Channel.

Section One: Connecting Channel Sections

CONNECTOR
1: Align the male pin carrier with the top female connector on the End Cap Power Connector.
2: Push the male pins completely in the female connector of the End Cap Power Connector and then lift the carrier up to
remove it.
3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the middle female connector of the end cap.

  • Page 2 5: Push the channel assembly onto the joiners and male pins of the End Cap Power Connector until they are properly mated. 6: Secure the channel by tightening the two #4-40 set screws JOINER using a 0.05" Allen wrench. 7: Install the lenses and optional louver to the assembled channel.
  • Page 3 14: Tighten the two Phillips screws on the sliding post to secure it to the channel. PHILLIPS SCREW Section Two: Installing the Canopy COAXIAL 4" CANOPY CABLES CORD GRIP ASSEMBLY CORD GRIP 2" CANOPY COAXIAL KNURLED CABLES NOTE: Omit this section if the connector does not come with a 2" or 4" Canopy. Refer to the other surface mount power canopies instructions provided with the product.
  • Page 4 7: Unscrew the coaxial connector covers and remove from the COAXIAL COAXIAL connector assembly. CONNECTOR CONNECTOR COVER COVER 1.5MM ALLEN WRENCH 2MM ALLEN WRENCH CONNECTOR M3 SET ASSEMBLY SCREW M4 SET SCREW 8: Using the provided 1.5mm Allen wrench, remove the M3 set screw from the coaxial connector assembly.
  • Page 5 14: Use the provided 2mm Allen wrench to securely tighten the 2MM ALLEN M4 set screw until it squeezes the wire ferrule tightly to the WRENCH coaxial cable. M4 SET SCREW COAXIAL COAXIAL CONNECTOR CABLE COVER 15: Replace the coaxial connector cover and tighten into place.
  • Page 6 NOTE: Omit steps 23 and 24 if using 4" Round or Square canopy. Adjust fixture height by following step 26. 23: Mount the cord grip assembly to the 2" plaster ring using two #8-32 screws. CORD GRIP ASSEMBLY #8-32 SCREW CANOPY 24: Place the canopy over the cord grip against the ceiling.
