Inserting and Removing Modules Before inserting or removing modules, be sure to WARNING: turn Off the power switch on the Power Module(s). If your system has an expansion carrier, turn Off the power switch on the basic carrier’s Power Module first, then turn Off the power switch on the expansion carrier’s Power Module.

Remove the cardboard protector from the connector at the back of the module. Make sure that the power switch is Off on the Power Module(s). Fol- low the procedure below for turning the power off at the Power Module(s): If your system has an expansion carrier, first turn Off the power switch on the basic carrier’s Power Module.

INSERTING MODULES REMOVING MODULES 1 Lower the module hook onto the carrier’s rod. 2 Lift the module free of the carrier.
