NOTE: For easier assembly and installation,
vehicle and all snowplow components should
be on a smooth, level, hard surface, such as
concrete.
1. Remove the bumper. Remove skid plates and fog
lights, if applicable.
2. Position each hanger plate (Item 6 & 7) on the
bottom of each side of the frame between the
body mounts and suspension.
NOTE: The area between these components
is larger than the flat on the top of the hanger
plate, and the hanger plate needs to be butted
up against the body mount brackets for the light
tower to clear the bumper.
The outside of the hanger plate should be
positioned up alongside the side of the frame. The
top flat on the hanger plate should be flush with
the bottom of the frame.
CAUTION
Use caution not to pinch, cut or drill through any
wires or hoses running along the frame rails.
3. Once in position, mark the holes in the frame with
the hanger plate as a template in the center of the
flat on the bottom of the frame. Drill holes for the
5/8" cap screws with a 11/16" bit.

4. Thread the nutplate (Item 8) into the front
openings on the frame.
NOTE: The nutplate is designed so you can
manipulate it around the post inside the frame and
into position.
Secure the nutplate with cap screws (Item 12) and
washers (Item 13). Cut the nutplate handle so it is
flush with the end of the frame. Finger tighten the
fasteners until all undercarriage parts are in place.
5. Mount the pushbeam (Item 1) to the hanger plates
using cap screws (Item 9), washers (Item 10)
and locknuts (Item 11). Tighten the pushbeam
hardware according to the torque chart.
6. Level the pushbeam with the floor and tighten the
hanger plate hardware according to the torque
chart.
7.
Replace the bumper. Replace the foglights and
skid plates, if applicable.
NOTE: After five to ten hours of snowplow usage,
retorque all undercarriage assembly fasteners.
