    Hinweise zu dieser Anleitung Lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig, bevor Sie ihre HomeMatic-Komponenten in Betrieb nehmen. Bewahren Sie die Anleitung zum späteren Nach- schlagen auf! Wenn Sie das Gerät anderen Personen zur Nutzung überlassen, übergeben Sie auch diese Bedienungs- anleitung.

    Magnet kontakte (Reed-Kontakte) oder Endschalter. Die Änderung eines Schaltzustands wird nicht nur er- kannt, sondern auch gespeichert und als Funkbefehl an angelernte HomeMatic Komponenten übertragen. Wenn ein Schalter/Kontakt offen ist, wird ein Ein- schaltsignal gesendet, ist ein Schalter/Kontakt ge- schlossen, wird ein Ausschaltsignal übertragen.

    Installation Die Schließerkontaktschnittstelle besitzt flexible Ver- bindungsleitungen (0, 75 mm ) mit Aderendhülsen. Entfernen Sie vor dem Anschluss die Gummikappen, die auf die Aderendhülsen aufgesteckt sind. Damit sind diese direkt an die verwendeten Kontakte gemäß folgender Skizze anzuschließen: Falls Sie nicht alle Kanäle verwenden, belas- sen Sie die Gummikappen auf den Aderend- hülsen der unbenutzten Kanäle.

    Inbetriebnahme 7.1 Batterie einlegen und wechseln Entfernen Sie den Gehäusedeckel indem Sie vor- sichtig die Rastnasen am Gehäusedeckel nach innen drücken (Pfeile).
  • Page 10 Legen Sie die mitgelieferte Lithium-Batterie (CR 2032) polrichtig entsprechend den Polaritätsmarkierungen in den Batteriehalter (E) ein (Pluspol nach oben). Setzen Sie den Gehäusedeckel wieder auf. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Gehäusedeckel vollständig wie- der einrastet. Vorsicht! Explosionsgefahr bei unsachge- mäßem Austausch der Batterie.     7.2 Anlernen Bitte lesen Sie diesen Abschnitt erst vollständig, be- vor sie mit dem Anlernen beginnen! Zum Anlernen müssen beide zu verknüpfenden Ge- räte in den Anlernmodus gebracht werden. Die Anlerntaste (A) befindet sich neben den Abgän- gen der Anschlussleitungen (B). Um die Schließerkontaktschnittstelle in den Anlern- modus zu bringen, drücken Sie die Anlerntaste (A) kurz.
  • Page 12 Geräte-LED leuchtet dann rot auf. Nach Auswahl des Kanals bleibt der Anlernmodus für 20 Sekunden aktiv. Innerhalb dieser Zeit muss die andere anzulernende HomeMatic Komponente eben- falls in den Anlernmodus versetzt werden. Lesen Sie dazu die entsprechende Bedienungsanleitung des Geräts. Ein erfolgreiches Anlernen wird durch grünes Aufleuchten der Geräte-LED signalisiert.

Über eine HomeMatic Zentrale oder einen HomeMatic Konfigurationsadapter lässt sich die Konfiguration der Schließerkontaktschnittstelle ändern. Lesen Sie dazu auch Abschnitt 7.3.

Fehlerbehebung Erfolgt beim Betätigen eines Schalters/Kontakts kei- ne Reaktion des zu steuernden Gerätes und liegt kei- ne behebbare Kommunikationsstörung vor (zu steu- erndes Gerät vom Netz getrennt, leere Batterien des Empfängers, usw.) so ist die verbrauchte Batterie wie im Kapitel 7.1 beschrieben gegen eine neue Lithium- Zelle des Typs CR 2032 auszutauschen.

    Information about this manual Read this manual carefully before starting to use your HomeMatic components. Keep the manual handy so you can refer to it at a later date. If you hand over the device to other persons for use, please hand over the operating manual as well.

    A change in a switching state is not only detected, but is also stored and transmitted to taught-in HomeMatic components in the form of a radio command. If a switch/contact is open, a switch-on signal is sent, and if a switch/contact is closed, a switch-off signal is transmitted.

    General information about the HomeMatic system This device is part of the HomeMatic home control system and works with the bidirectional BidCoS ® wireless protocol. All devices are delivered in a standard configuration. The functionality of the device can also be config- ured with a programming device and software.

    Installation The shutter contact interface features flexible con- necting cables (0.75 mm ) with ferrules. Remove the rubber caps from the ferrules prior to connection. These must then be connected to the appropriate contacts directly, as per the diagram below: If you are not using all the channels, leave the rubber caps on the ferrules of those that re- main unused.

    Start-up 7.1 Inserting and replacing the battery Remove the housing cover by carefully pressing the clips on the housing cover inwards (in the direction indicated by the arrows).
  • Page 28 Insert the lithium battery (CR2032) supplied into the battery holder (E), observing the correct polarity (positive pole at the top). Replace the housing cover. Make sure that the hous- ing cover re-engages properly. Caution! There is a risk of explosion if the bat- tery is not replaced correctly.

    7.2 Teaching-in Please read this entire section before starting the teach-in procedure. To execute the teach-in procedure, both of the devices to be connected must be in teach-in mode. The teach-in button (A) is located next to the outgoing sections of the connecting cables (B). To switch the shutter contact interface to teach-in mode, briefly press the teach-in button (A).
  • Page 30 Once the channel has been selected, teach-in mode will remain active for 20 seconds. The other HomeMatic components to be taught-in must also be switched to teach-in mode during this time. For more information on this, refer to the operating manual for the device.

    HomeMatic central control unit HomeMatic configuration tool can be used to change the configuration of the shutter contact interface. See also Section 7.3 for more information on this. Resetting to the initial state Press and hold the teach-in button for at least 5 sec- onds.

    In this case, a specific encryption key has been stored using a HomeMatic central control unit. To reset the device, you will have to use the configuration soft- ware for resetting the central control unit.
