    2-2 Caution When Handling AC power must always be turned OFF, and the game unplugged, before replac- ing any parts or connecting/disconnecting connectors. When unplugging the game from an electrical outlet, always grasp the plug, not the cord. The power supply range is between 1 IO-120VAC, (switchable to 220 VAC). The cabinet must bc grounded with a securely connected ground plug.

    Installing the Seat Assemblies (Ref. Illustration 4-l) NOTE: Installing the seats before the control panels eases the process of inslalling the control panels. Unpack and inspect the red and blue seat assemblies. Wheel the seat assemblies up to the monitor cabinet. Connect the wire har- ness connectors to the speaker harness.

Connect the control panel harness connectors to the monitor cabinet connec- tors. Using the hooks on the control panel. hang the control panel in place on the cabinet slots.

    5. ADJUSTMENTS 5-l Power on When installation is complete, connect the power cord to an AC outlet and turn the power on. The Power on/off Switch is located on the bottom right hand side of the game. NOTE: Each P/S is also equipped with a pushbutton power switch which must also be turned on.

    Test Mode 1. Self-test The self test is performed automatically when power is turned on. If no errors are encountered, the Game Screen is displayed on the monitor. 2. Test Mode Open the coin door and set the test switch to ON. The Menu Screen appears on the monitor displaying the various tests available.

    Initialization is required whenever the game PCB, the joystick assembly and/or the potentiometers are replaced. 5 4 1 Adjusting the Joystick Assembly (Initialization) With the joystick centered, hold the Service Switch and turn the Test Switch “ON”. The “VOLUME ADJUST” screen (below) will appear. The joystick assembly is automatically initialized with this action.

    6. HOW TO PLAY missiles and machine guns while driving futuristic tanks with joysticks. A single player can compete against the computer, while two players can compete against each other. The tank and weapons controls operate as follows: By pushing forward or pulling backward on botb joysticks at the same time, the player’s tank moves in that direction.

    CONDUCTING ANY MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES. 7-1 The Power Switches CYBERSLED is equipped with two (2) Power Switches located at the rear base of the Monitor Cabinet, one on each side. They are equipped with circuit breakers that automatically turn the power off with excess current flow.

Disconnect the four (two 12-position, one 6-position and one 4-position) connectors which attach to the control panel box.

    7-5-2 Replacing the UP and DOWN Joystick Potentiometer 1. Remove the cord clip securing the joystick harness. 2. Turn the joystick assembly upside down, remove the four (4) flange sockets and remove the under case. 3. Insert a phillips screwdriver into the hole located at the side of the joystick assembly and remove the two (2) screws securing the potentiometer mounting bracket and remove.

    8. TROUBLESHOOTING -GENERAL before you make a service request. (1) Inspect the fuses. (2) The power supply should be set to either 110 or 220 Volts AC. However, when some other equipment (air conditioner, multiple pinball games, air compressors, et.c.) are connected to the same power supply, the voltage may change beyond this range and cause game trouble or improper operation.
