Prior to fi rst Use:
Battery is shipped disconnected from or
separate from the Wand (Photo 1). Using
a Phillips head screwdriver (not included)
unscrew the gray handle face plate on the
underside of the Wand. Insert the male
connector of the battery into the female
connector of the Wand (Photo 2). Return
handle face plate and screw to tighten.
UV-C Sanitizing Wand Operation
• The UV-C Sanitizing Wand contains a
rechargeable 4.8v Ni-MH battery. Please be sure
to fully charge the battery for 24 hours prior to
initial use. Old batteries should be disposed of
properly and never incinerated.
• Charging time is 8 hours. The Wand can be
used for 1.5 hours after it is fully charged.
• The Charging LED indicator shows red while
charging, and green when fully charged.
• After charging fully, disconnect charger, press
and hold on/off/mode switch for 5-7 seconds until
it beeps. LED screen will display "00" and beep
to indicate activation and readiness for additional
instructions. Press button again to indicate:
• 5 minute (05)
• 60 minute (60)
• Continuous operation (CC) – in this mode, the unit will NOT
automatically turn itself off.
