When motion is detected by one or more cameras, the system can alert you by sending an email alert with an attached image and/or send push notifications to your mobile app. Setup: Click icon to adjust the settings.

    User Manual 3.2.2 Record This menu allows you to configure the channel recording settings. 3.2.2.1 Record Settings Enable: Check to enable recording this channel. Stream: Choose the recording quality. If you choose Dualstream, the system will record in both Mainstream & Substream. Pre-Record: If this option is enabled, the system starts recording a few seconds before an alarm event (motion detection for example) occurs.

    User Manual Cameras: Select the channel to set its snapshot schedule. Normal: When the time slot is marked green, this indicates the channel performs normal snapshot for that time slot. Motion: When the time slot is marked yellow, this indicates the channel snapshots are only made when a motion is detected during that time slot.

Read-write mode is the normal status for a HDD to save recording or search recording to play. To prevent important video data from being overwritten during cyclic recording, the HDD can be set as Read-only mode.
