Fitting Kit K671 Attaches to factory-fitted mounting points Please check the rear of this manual for information relating specifically to your vehicle. Adjust crossbar in or out to suit vehicle. Refer to the crossbar instructions for crossbar adjustment. Tighten adjusting screw to 5 Nm (3.7 ft lb) hand tight.

Fitting Kit K671 Select plastic internal block (from fitting kit) and insert into foot. Repeat for all legs. Fitment There are 4 concealed mounting points hidden by the vehicles rubber insert on the roof. Measure from the front of the rubber insert and make a mark at 355mm and 1245mm.

Fitting Kit K671 Now cut the rubber insert at the 2 lines you marked in the earlier instruction. Once cut you should end up with 4 x 50mm pieces of the rubber insert. Note: Be careful of sharp edges after cutting the rubber insert.

Fitting Kit K671 Remove sealant as shown. Apply protective strip as shown. Trim if required. Assemble as shown. A = 8mm bolt B = Spring washer C = Flat washer D = Rubber seal E = Protective strip Place rubber seal over bolt thread as shown.

Fitting Kit K671 Select coach bolt and insert through metal clamp slot. Using the 10mm (3/8") spanner supplied with the crossbars, tighten the nut to 5Nm (3.7 ft lb) hand tight. A = Coach bolt B = Washer C = Nut Assemble as shown.

Fitting Kit K671 Place crossbar foot over clamp. Repeat for all four positions. Tighten the plastic knob. The side with the nut showing should be facing up. Ensure the plastic knob is in the position shown when fully tightened. Repeat for all legs.

Fitting Kit K671 Check crossbar is securely attached to the vehicle. Use keys to fit and lock covers CAUTION: Recheck all fasteners immediately after a load is applied to the crossbars. Regularly check screws are tight.
Fitting Kit K671 Maintenance Clean the car roof and surfaces of the product that will be in contact with the car roof. Follow the fitting instructions for fitting the product to your vehicle. Make sure all steps are carried out in order.

Fitting Kit K671 Check and replace worn out or defective parts. Keep the product clean and maintained. Never drive into a car wash with the roof rack system fitted. Lubricate locks and adjusting screws at regular intervals. Remove the products from the vehicle when not in use.
