2. Place the handle assembly over the grinder gear case
aligning the thumbscrews with the threaded holes
and the ears on the gear case with the slots in the bail
handle assembly.
3. Tighten the thumbscrews to secure the handle to
the grinder.
Adjustment of the bail handle angle
1. Loosen both thumbscrews 2 full turns.
2. Rotate the handle to the desired 45˚ or 90˚ position making
sure that the detent groves align.
3. Re-tighten the thumbscrews to secure the handle to
the grinder.
Edging Use Application (Fig. A)
This concrete grinding shroud has a door feature to allow flush
grinding against a wall.
1. Turn the tool off and disconnect it from the power source.
2. Using the edging door tab
snaps into the open postion.
3. Connect the tool to the power source.
4. Position hands and body away from wheel and
door opening.
5. Place the door edge flush to work surface, turn the tool on
and begin grinding. Remove the tool from work surface
before turning the tool off.
6. When flush grinding is complete, turn off the tool and
disconnect from power source. Allow the tool to stop
rotating before laying it down.

Replace Brush Skirt (Fig. A)
1. Turn the tool off and disconnect it from power source.
2. Push worn brush skirt from brush skirt removal holes
3. Press new brush skirt into brush skirt removal holes
until secure.
Replacement brush skirts are available at additional cost from
your local dealer or authorized service center. If you need

Lubrication
Your power tool requires no additional lubrication.
Cleaning

with dry air as often as dirt is seen collecting in and around
the air vents. Wear approved eye protection and approved
dust mask when performing this procedure.

for cleaning the non-metallic parts of the tool. These
chemicals may weaken the materials used in these parts.
Use a cloth dampened only with water and mild soap.
Never let any liquid get inside the tool; never immerse any
part of the tool into a liquid.
