Message
Caution! NVRAM_CLR
jumper is installed on
system board - please
run SETUP program.
Invalid configuration
information - please
run SETUP program.
This processor system
bus speed is unknown.
System halted!
Causes
NVRAM_CLR jumper is
installed.
Invalid configuration settings in
the System Setup program, or
the system battery is faulty.
The installed processor is not
supported by the system.
Corrective Actions
Remove the NVRAM_CLR
jumper. See Figure A-2 in the
Installation and Troubleshooting
Guide for jumper location.
Check the System Setup
configuration settings. See
"Using the System Setup
Program" in your User's Guide.
Replace the battery. See
"Replacing the System Battery"
in the Installation and
Troubleshooting Guide.
Reboot the system. If you
receive beep code 4-4-3
(processor frequency mismatch),
replace the installed processor(s)
with processor(s) supported by
your system. See "Processors" in
the Installation and
Troubleshooting Guide.
If a beep code does not occur at
system boot, turn off the system,
install the NVRAM_CLR
jumper, and reboot the system.
