f "Cache Mode (Current)" value is not "Write Back", click "Option" tab and change
"Cache Mode (Setting)" value to "auto switch".
**This operation requires URU works "Advanced Mode". Select "Tool(T)" tab ->
"Advanced Mode(M)" from URU top screen and change URU operation mode to
"Advanced Mode"
If "Cache mode (Setting)" is "Auto Switch", for protection storage data,"Cache
Mode (Current)" change to Write Through automatically if BBU is not installed,
BBU capacity is low, or BBU is abnormal(such as high temperature).
We recommend to use RAID system with "Cache Mode (Setting)" value is "Auto
Notice
Switch".
URU may not able to recognize the battery pack if it is charged only at the
minimum level (or uncharged). If this occurs, charge the battery pack for ten
hours or longer. Then reboot the server and try to recognize the battery pack
again by using URU.
For details of the Write Policy, refer to the User's Guide of the RAID Controller
or URU User's Guide (online document in the EXPRESSBUILDER coming with
the NEC Express5800 server).
