ATTENTION!
Damage to the fluorescent lamp due to
use of excessive force on insertion.
Insert the fluorescent lamp carefully.
The mains power cable cannot be
replaced. If the mains power cable is
damaged, the main cover must be
replaced. Contact your retailer or the
Tetra customer service. Contact
information can be found in the section
entitled Manufacturer's address from
page 19.
With the exception of the illumination, the
aquarium requires minimal maintenance. To
ensure constant quality, the fluorescent
lamp should be exchanged once per year.
A suitable Tetra AL-T5 type fluorescent
lamp is available from your retailer.
To exchange the fluorescent lamp,
disconnect the mains plug for the
illumination.
Open the cover completely.
Completely unscrew the sockets'
threaded couplings.
Push the threaded couplings a few
centimetres away from the sockets one
side at a time.
Carefully lift the fluorescent lamp out of
the sockets (one side at a time).
Carefully push the threaded couplings off
from the fluorescent lamp.
Make sure that the threaded couplings'
sealing rings are not lost.
Dispose of the fluorescent lamp in an
environmentally acceptable manner.
Push the threaded couplings onto the
new fluorescent lamp so that the threads
point outwards.
Make sure that the sealing rings are
correctly seated in the threaded couplings
(Fig. D).

Insert the fluorescent lamp into the
sockets one side at a time, applying
gentle pressure (Fig. B, 1).
Push the threaded couplings onto the
sockets' threads (Fig. C, 1).
Firmly screw the threaded couplings onto
the sockets (Fig. C, 2). Make sure that
the threads are not tilted (cross
threaded).

In the event of malfunctions, contact your
retailer or the Tetra customer service.

Storage

Disconnect the illumination and all
accessories from the mains power
supply.
Remove all accessories.
Empty the aquarium.
Store the aquarium in a dry room.
