INSTRUCCIONES DETALLADAS SOBRE CONEXIÓN CABLEADO ALIMENTACIÓN En vehículos con toma de alimentación situado en zona escotilla, conectar ésta con la clema de alimentación del equipo y fijar con soportes con adhesivo y bridas.

Volver a montar fusible en cableado y fijar con (2) tornillos roscachapa 4,2x16 como se indica. Conectar en toma de positivo original. Montar tapón original.

  • Page 15 SLIM FIT Air conditioning for vehicles If the vehicle is fitted with a spoiler, take down the spoiler and remove the front bar (A) before starting installation. Take down the hatch and the attachment elements, and hand them over to the customer. Caution: leave the original edgeband (*).
  • Page 16 SLIM FIT Air conditioning for vehicles CABIN EXTERIOR: Position the Compact in the hatch gap on the original edgeband. Caution! When positioning the unit above the hatch gap, check that the wastewater run-offs are not blocked by the EPDM seal. Hatch Remove (4) screws from the front, leaving it secured by the cables.
  • Page 17 SLIM FIT Air conditioning for vehicles Position the fastening mounts with a flat washer, grower washer and M8/125x40 screw, without tightening. Attach the supplied supplement in the duct unit, as shown. Screw on (4) M4 L=13 hexagons as indicated and put the front back in place.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS ON CONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY CABLES If the vehicle has a power connection in the hatch area, connect this to the unit’s power terminal and secure with the support pieces using adhesive and flanges.
  • Page 21 SLIM FIT Air conditioning for vehicles Take down the lower decorative piece on the passenger side and pass the R power cabling to the outside. Reassemble the fuse in the cabling and secure with (2) 4.2x16 tapping screws as indicated. Connect to the original positive connection.
