Do not put fillings too close to the edges of the slices of bread. Never overfill a sandwich/panini,
as this may cause spillage.

To achieve a crispier result on both sides, put sandwiches or paninis on a metal rack (e.g. a
cooling rack) for half a minute after you have grilled them.

You can season the food to taste with e.g. curry powder, paprika powder, cayenne pepper,
chives, parsley, mustard, tomato ketchup, sandwich spread, herb butter or chutney.

Grill meat (e.g. hamburgers and sausages), poultry (e.g. chicken nuggets or fillets), fish and food
with cheese on top on the lower grilling plate and do not close the grill.
Cleaning
Never immerse the appliance in water nor rinse it under the tap.

Unplug the appliance and let it cool down.

Clean the grilling plates with a damp cloth or sponge (Fig. 7).
Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents and materials, as they damage the non-stick coating
of the plates.

Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.

Wind the mains cord round the brackets on the bottom of the appliance (Fig. 8).

You can store the appliance in vertical or horizontal position (Fig. 9).

Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 10).

Recipes
Ham cheese and pineapple sandwich/panini

4 slices of bread

2 slices of cheese

2 slices of pineapple

2 thin slices of ham

curry powder

Let the panini grill heat up.

Put the cheese, the pineapple and finally the ham on two slices of bread. Sprinkle the ham
with some curry powder and put the other two slices of bread on top.

Follow the instructions in chapter 'Using the appliance'.
