You will need:
• The Amigo R5 bodyworn receiver
• A mono to stereo adapter (available from Electronics shops
very cheaply). Looks like this:
• Audio interface cable from
Advanced Bionics which looks like this:
• A direct connect cable from Advanced
Bionics which looks like this:
• A direct connect earhook from
Advanced Bionics which looks like this:

What to do:

It is necessary to consult with the cochlear implant centre about
which program should be used for FM.
1)
Turn off the Harmony processor by removing the battery
pack. Turn off the Amigo R5 receiver.
2)
Plug the mono to stereo adapter into the Amigo R5 receiver
output jack.

  • Page 3 - Is the cord correctly plugged in to the receiver? If the red light still does not come on: Test the receiver by using an Oticon listening testing set. Alternatively, if you have a hearing aid and stetoclips available, you could connect the receiver to the audio shoe on the hearing aid and listen to it using the stetoclips.
