3 Installation

WARNING
All the connections must be completed with the UPS off and disconnected from the mains.
After removing the protection panels, also pay attention to the battery voltage on the UPS
connectors and the battery connectors.
The possibility of connecting the 3 107 74 battery cabinet is ONLY available for WHAD HE 3 101 60,
3 101 61 and 3 101 62.
In order to connect more than 1 battery cabinet to the UPS, the number of Y 3 109 71 cables avai-
lable must follow the rule: no. of Y cables = no. of battery cabinets - 1.
In this case, also follow the instructions supplied with the Y 3 109 71 cable.
- Ensure good earth contact through the appropriate cable, attached to screw
screw of the battery cabinet.
- Remove the protection panel of the connector for the connection to the additional battery unit
of the UPS.
- Connect the correct connector of the cable supplied to the connector for connection of the UPS
to the additional battery unit.
- Loosen screw of the battery cabinet and rotate the protection cover down until the connec-
tor inside the window is completely revealed.
- Connect the free connector of the cable supply to the battery cabinet connector.
