The iron takes approx. 1 minute to heat up to 2 and the steam tank takes approx. 2.5 minutes to heat up. As soon as the steam tank has reached its maximum pressure level and is ready for steam ironing, the steam tank pilot light goes out (GC8030/GC7030 only).

Calc Clean Never remove the Calc-Clean rinsing cap and unscrew the Calc-Clean rinsing plug when the steam tank is hot.
