Kinetico Water Conditioners are tested and certified by NSF International against the requirements of
NSF/ANSI Standard 44 for softener performance and chemical reduction of barium and radium
226/228.
NSF/ANSI Standard 44 Certification applies to Kinetico 2030s, 2040sOD, 2060s, 2060sOD, 2100s,
NSF
2100sOD, 4040sOD, 4060s OD with Carbon and 4060sOD with Macrolite.
®
The Kinetico 4040sOD, 4060sOD with Carbon, the 4060fOD, the 2060fOD with Carbon, and the
2100fOD with Carbon are also certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of aesthetic chlorine,
taste and odor. The 2060fOD with Macrolite, and the 2100fOD with Macrolite are certified to NSF/ANSI
Standard 42 for the reduction of Particulate Class II.
