11. Measurements

Measurements can be made on live or frozen images as well as
stored images and cineloops.
When live imaging, from the menu at the bottom of the screen tap
the arrow to access the 'measure' button.
Activate/deactivate measurement controls by pressing "Measure"
after freezing the image.
The available measurements depends on the imaging mode.
The measurement menu contains general measurements, for
application specific measurements, use the Protocol function.
If a stored image with one or more measurements is loaded, these
measurements can be corrected and or removed before the
image is stored again.

11.1.1 Distance

Place the first grey caliper with the touchpad in the desired place
to start to measure the distance D1. Press Set. The second caliper
is now displayed. Place it with the touch pad and click Valid to
validate the measurement.
The control Toggle enables to go from one caliper to the next in
order to adjust the measurement before validating.
After validating, the two calipers are now displayed in blue and
the result of the distance measurement is displayed in the lower left
part of the screen.
To modify a measurement, press Select until the first measurement
caliper that should be modified is displayed in grey colour. After
modifying, press Valid to validate.
When pressing Distance, a second measurement can be made. Up
to 4 distance measurements are available on one image.
