- the projected points turn more and more into a line as
the rotational speed increases
- repeated pressing of button F decreases the speed in
6 steps to a standstill

beneath) on a flat surface or on the tripod

way that the bubble in level M is centered

For making references on a longer distance
- place the tool on a flat surface or on the tripod
- level the tool in case of horizontal or vertical reference
lines
- switch on the tool
- align the projected laser point with your target point by
turning rotary head E manually

- place the tool on a flat surface
- level the tool
- switch on the tool
- a plumb point is projected on the ceiling
! check the leveling after each adjustment
• Working with wall-mounted tool !
For work exceeding the extension height of tripods, the
tool can be mounted to the wall as illustrated
! ensure the tool is mounted properly and cannot
fall down

- for improving the view of the laser line
! these glasses will not protect your eyes against
laser radiation

- unfold the tripod
- lock the tripod with ring P
- adjust length of 3 legs with clips Q
- adjust length of rod R with handle S
- lock rod R with knob T
- mount tool on tripod as illustrated
- use adapter V for mounting tool in vertical position
• When working with the tripod on uneven surfaces, level
the tripod itself by adjusting leg lengths with clips Q 1
and checking bubble level W 1
• When using the tripod the tool can be used in any
inclined position for projecting lines under any desired
angle
MAINTENANCE / SERVICE
• This tool is not intended for professional use
• Do not expose the tool to continuous vibration or
extremely hot or cold temperatures
• Always store the tool indoors in its protective bag
• Always keep the tool free of dust, moisture and direct
sunlight
• Clean the tool with a damp cloth and mild soap
! always remove the batteries before cleaning the
lens
• If the tool should fail despite the care taken in
manufacturing and testing procedures, repair should be
carried out by an after-sales service centre for SKIL
power tools
- send the tool undismantled together with proof of
purchase to your dealer or the nearest SKIL service
station (addresses as well as the service diagram of
the tool are listed on www.skil.com)
